This project was to create the portal for the backend administration of Canopy, which is the method by which Ripcord delivers the final product of its scanning and enrichment services to clients. It allows admins to manage users, assign roles, create data models, and train ML models.

Although it was meant to follow the look and feel of our flagship product, it needed to be distinct so that it wouldn’t be confused with Canopy. As the work got started, it was clear that a proper Design System was needed. As such, it spurred the need for me to start our design audit which led to yet another project; the Ripcord Design System.

While building out Admin Console, a client need arose relating to ML. The AI models needed custom data sets and therefore we needed to add document classification and document splitting for the SMEs to train the models. In collaboration with the ML team, I designed a harmonious annotation flow for the SMEs to easily get through the tedious training to get the results they wanted out of the LLMs.
